What the numbers change
Shorter notes: methodology, rights, creator mix, Egypt’s filter, US housing watches.

A 2026 esports market that is both $3.3 billion and $5.1 billion is not a data error. It is two scopes. Averaging them is the amateur move. Naming them is the work.

Esports monetization is not “ads around streamers.” The commercial spine is sponsorship and media rights. That is why two 2026 market sizes can both be sincere — one may count adjacent money, one may not.

If the creator economy is $254 billion in 2025 on one report and $252–314 billion in 2026 on another, the interesting fact is not the midpoint. It is that ads are no longer the only pipe — and we have not yet measured the mix.

Four watches: listing price, home value, transaction pace, regional divergence. This library holds the first three as mid-2026 prints. The fourth is empty. Empty is honest.
